Skyline DFW Moves Into New Expanded Facility

Skyline DFW Exhibits & Graphics has grown remarkably every year since it opened its doors in 2001.

Recently, Skyline DFW relocated to a new facility with over 37,000 square feet, more than doubling its previous space and dramatically increasing its warehouse space to accommodate Skyline DFW's ever-expanding client base.

"It is a very exciting time for us, especially considering how far we have come in our 7-year history," Jeff Meisner, President/CEO said. "This expansion is further proof that by always doing the right thing for our customers and sticking to our core values of honesty, integrity and professionalism, our clients realize how committed we are to their success and they have rewarded us with their partnership."

Staying in the Grand Prairie area is also extremely important to Meisner, as the central location allows Skyline DFW to easily service their thousands of clients in all areas of the Metroplex. The new office, located at 900 Avenue S, is also less than a half-hour to all the major Dallas-Fort Worth Convention Centers.

"As we considered moving to a new facility, we put all factors on the table as far as location, and we kept coming back to Grand Prairie. The fact that we can reach almost every part of the Metroplex, even North Dallas, within 30-45 minutes was critical in our decision. The new DFW tollways have made it very convenient for all of our clients to visit Skyline DFW's expanded showroom and warehouse," Meisner said.

Skyline DFW Exhibits & Graphics Wins Honors at 2007 ADDY Gala

Fort Worth, Texas, Feb. 9th, 2008 - In its debut appearance as a competitor in the American Advertising Federation Forth Worth ADDY awards competition, Skyline DFW Exhibits & Graphics took home two silver ADDYs.

According to AAF-FW President, Kent Dean, this year's local ADDY competition saw a 38% increase in entries with more than 530 total pieces vying for awards. "Only about 10% of entries receive top honors, so to walk away a winner says a lot about the quality of work produced by a shop. Skyline DFW has always produced great work for their clients and our industry," Dean said.

The honors received were for trade show exhibit designs from the past year for Skyline DFW's clients, Metro Aviation and Plexent . The 40x50 island booth design for Metro Aviation was created by designer Matt Alford and president Jeff Meisner. The booth was exhibited at the 2007 Air Medical Transport Conference in Tampa, Florida. The Plexent 20x20 booth design was exhibited at the 2007 IT Service Management Forum in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was designed by Alford and Marketing Consultant, David Kimmell.

It's such a thrill to win," Alford said. "It's always a pleasure to work with great clients like these."

The Alternative Board names Jeff Meisner Board Member of the Year

Jeff was chosen for this special award by other board members, who selected him for his active participation in each board meeting, his practical yet not always traditional suggestions, his consistency in going the extra step for another board member, and his willingness to change perspective on his issues, based on the input of other board members.

Jeff is founder & President/CEO of Skyline DFW Exhibits & Graphics, who officially opened their doors, with 5 employees, on Sept. 4, 2001...Talk about timing! Having overcome that challenge, Skyline DFW has grown to nearly 20 employees, revenues exceeding $3.5m, and an expectation of breaking the $5m mark in the next year or so.

In the Tradeshow business, things will happen & realizing that and being able to respond quickly and effectively are differentiators for Skyline DFW. Be it large customers, like American Airlines or small owner operated business, the result is a worry free experience.

Skyline DFW supports their customers through all aspects of a trade show - from design of the exhibit, to delivery, setup & take down at the show, to storage, maintenance, reconfiguration, on-line inventory access, and tradeshow education. In fact, on Jan. 23, 2008 two free seminars are available to any of you in the North Texas area.

From those early days to now, with goals of "do the right thing" and "go above & beyond", in working with customers, vendors and employees, it is no surprise that Skyline DFW was awarded the 2007 Rising Star Award, as the Small Business of the Year by the Ft. Worth Chamber of Commerce.

Personally Jeff is an avid reader/listener, and has adopted many of the management philosophies of Good to Great. He is also taekwondo black belt, and has resided in North Texas with his wife and two daughters for the past 17 years.

Jeff has been a TAB member since Dec. 2006. The value to him are the basic premises of The Alternative Board (1) utilizing the collective experience of 4 to 6 (business owner) peers who come from a wide variety of backgrounds, yet common issues and (2) a group to whom he is accountable for his commitments.

Congratulations, Jeff , as Board Member of the Year!

Skyline DFW Exhibits & Graphics received the 2007 Rising Star Small Business of the Year Award from the Ft. Worth Chamber of Commerce.

Jeff Meisner, President/CEO, accepted the award at a March 22 luncheon presentation at the Fort Worth Hilton that celebrated the importance of small business to both the local and national economy.

Five businesses were chosen from a field of 141 nominees, narrowed to 14 finalists in five categories based on number of employees and emerging business.

Skyline DFW Exhibits & Graphics won in the 11-50 Employees category. Each finalist was judged by a panel of Fort Worth Chamber Business Professionals and top TCU Neeley School of Business entrepeneurial students. Criteria were business growth and performance, sound business strategies and practices, customer service strategies, business challenges, unique and innovative approaches, and community involvement.

Skyline DFW's mission is to help their clients maximize the return on their marketing investment by dramatically improving their image at trade shows and special events. "The main reason we won this award is due to the incredible team of people here at Skyline DFW," said Jeff Meisner, President/CEO. "Their passion and commitment to excellence is what allows us to provide an unequaled level of service to our wonderful customers." Skyline DFW plans on adding several new employees and purchasing an expanded facility by the end of 2007.
